I have a confession.
I’m a couch potato.
So when I have to choose between updating my blog vs hogging in front of the TV (or now the phone to watch Netflix), I’ll obviously choose the latter.
And of course, all the business travelling…
Nah, those are just excuses to the lack of blog posts. I was just living by and there was nothing interesting to write about, and I was just uninspired. But I know the creative side of my brain (I forgot which) is dying to write.
Anyways, back to my story as a couch potato. I’ve been a TV junkie my whole life. I love family drama, thriller, mystery, a bit of comedy, and a bit of reality TV too (okay, maybe a lot).
My all time favorite TV series includes:
- Supernatural
- This Is Us
- Friends
- Gossip Girl
- Ghost Whisperer
- Gilmore Girls
- Pretty Little Liars
- Riverdale
- 13 Reasons Why
You got the pattern, right?
And here’s my recent favorite (and something I could not stop talking about):
Come on. It’s Christina Applegate, guys! I started watching this because she’s the lead role and everything is just so much better with her in it #fangirl but seriously the plot is very interesting!
It’s a story about Jen who’s grieving for his husband who was killed in a hit-and-run. The police could not identify the driver though. She then met Judy at a therapy group and became best friends. Little did she know that Judy was the one behind the hit-and-run.
And now I just can’t wait for Season 2! Or should I watch Season 1 in rerun?
I recently rediscovered my love for History Channel and one of my favorite shows on this channel is American Pickers. I know, I know, this is not a new show. I have a thing for antiques (but I think it contradicts with my minimalism style, so I don’t collect any), but I would love to do what they do –Β travel around to buy or “pick” various items for resale, for clients, or for their personal collections. I can watch this series back to back for hours!
Another recent discovery is Crime Investigation Channel. And again, I can watch this channel for hours! (Thanks to PVR, I don’t have to choose between CI and History). Among my favorite is Robbie Coltrane’s Critical Evidence. The focus of each programme is the trail of evidence of a murder: how it was discovered, what it meant and how it became critical to crack the case.
HGTV became my favorite channel when I recently wanted to decorate my house. I love One of a Kind because it features renovated houses which are tailor-made to its owner’s personality. This channel gives ideas not only on house decoration, but also on organization tips, remodelling, entertaining ideas, etc. But the more I watch HGTV, the more I realized that I need to hire professional to do the interior decoration for my house #husbandpleasetakenote
So the next time you come here and not see an update, you can pretty much have a good idea of what I’ve been up to.
